Public Information Meeting for Wekiva Parkway Sections 3A & 3B

Lake County - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information meeting about the Wekiva Parkway Sections 3A & 3B Construction Projects in Lake County. The public meeting is being held to review the construction plans and schedule for work to begin this year.
 
Section 3A project limits are along State Road (S.R.) 46 from east of Vista View Lane to east of Round Lake Road. The 1.4-mile project consists of widening S.R. 46 to six lanes, and widening a small portion of Round Lake Road. Section 3B project limits are along S.R. 46 from west of U.S. 441 to east of Vista View Lane, and along U.S. 441 from north of Natoma Boulevard to the Lake-Orange County Line in Mount Dora. The 2.4-mile project consists of converting the current U.S. 441 / S.R. 46 interchange into an at-grade, signalized intersection with a flyover ramp, and widening both roads to six lanes.
 
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 24, 2017, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Mount Dora Community Building located at 520 N. Baker Street, Mount Dora, Florida 32757. The meeting is an informal open house where plans will be available for review and project staff will be available to address questions.
