Section 7A - Daytime Traffic Pacing Operation

July 20, 2022

Due to inclement weather at night, motorists are advised that traffic will be intermittently slowed on State Road (S.R.) 46 in both directions from Longwood Markham Road to near Orange Boulevard as part of the Wekiva Parkway (S.R. 429) project. Traffic will be slowed on Thursday, July 21 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for striping. Law enforcement officers will be on site.

 

Remember to drive safely in the work zone and follow posted signage.

Section 6: Lane Closure

July 20, 2022

Motorists are advised that a lane closure is planned on southbound/westbound State Road (S.R.) 429 just west of the State Road (S.R.) 46 off ramp on Thursday, July 21 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for sign work. Flaggers and law enforcement officers will be on site to direct traffic.

Section 6: Intermittent Lane Closures

July 19, 2022

Intermittent traffic stoppages are planned on eastbound and westbound State Road (S.R.) 46 at the Osprey Hammock roundabout on Tuesday, July 19, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving. Local traffic will continue to have access.

 

Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. Remember to drive safely in the work zone and follow posted signage.

Motorists are advised that traffic will be stopped intermittently on eastbound and westbound State Road (S.R.) 46 from River Oaks Circle to the Osprey Hammock Trail roundabout tonight, Monday, July 18, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for paving. Local traffic will continue to have access.

Section 8: Ramp Closures Planned at I-4/S.R. 417

July 15, 2022

Nightly ramp closures are scheduled for Sunday, July 17, through Thursday, July 21, at State Road (S.R.) 417 and Interstate 4 (I-4). Multiple ramps will close for bridge work.

 

Please see the following closures and detours:

 

  • Westbound I-4 to southbound S.R. 417 (8 p.m. – 6 a.m.): Use I-4 to County Road (C.R.) 46A to Rinehart Road
  • International Parkway to southbound S.R. 417 (8 p.m. – 6 a.m.): Use S.R. 46 or C.R. 46A to Rinehart Road
  • Northbound S.R. 417 to westbound/eastbound I-4 and International Parkway (8:30 p.m. – 6 a.m.): Use Rinehart Road to S.R. 46
  • Eastbound I-4 ramp system to southbound S.R. 417 and S.R. 46 (8 p.m. – 6 a.m.): Use Rinehart Road

 

Access to nearby residences and businesses will be maintained.

There will also be intermittent roundabout closures. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or other circumstances. Flaggers and officers will be on site to direct traffic. Remember to drive safely in the work zone and follow posted signage.

A nightly road closure and detour is planned on westbound State Road (S.R.) 46 from the Glade View Drive roundabout to the Longwood Markham Road roundabout as part of the Wekiva Parkway (S.R. 429) project. The closure and detour are needed from Monday, July 11 to Thursday, July 14, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge painting.

 

Motorists should use Orange Boulevard to Markham Road to Longwood Markham Road as an alternate route.

Section 8: Ramp Closures Planned at I-4/S.R. 417

July 7, 2022

July 10-14 the EB I-4 ramps to SB S.R. 417 and S.R. 46 will close nightly 8 p.m.–6 a.m. Expect lane closures: July 10-14 on the WB I-4 ramp system and Rinehart Rd. 7:30 p.m.–6 a.m.; and July 11-15 on International Parkway 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Remember, slow down near construction.

 

Section 8: Ramp Closures Planned at I-4/S.R. 417

July 7, 2022

Multiple ramp closures will occur nightly July 10-14. The NB S.R. 417 ramps to EB/WB I-4 and International Parkway will close 8:30 p.m. – 6 a.m. The WB I-4 ramp to SB S.R. 417 and the SB S.R. 417 ramp from International Parkway will close 8 p.m. – 6 a.m. Be alert and be safe.

July 7, 2022

Nightly lane closures: July 10-14 on I-4 from S.R. 46 to C.R. 46A: EB single lanes 8:30 p.m. – 6 a.m.; double lanes 10:30 p.m. – 6 a.m.; WB I-4 single lanes 7:30 p.m. – 6 a.m.; double lanes 9:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. Remember to be attentive to roadway changes.

Motorists should expect nighttime delays from traffic pacing operations on State Road (S.R.) 46 from Bear Pond Drive west of the Wekiva River to Osprey Hammock Trail on Thursday, July 7, as part of the Wekiva Parkway (S.R. 429) project. Traffic will be slowed in both directions from 9 p.m. – 6 p.m. for paving operations.

 

Law enforcement officers will be on site. Remember: Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

The closure and detour are needed from Tuesday, July 5 to Friday, July 8, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge painting.

 

Motorists should use Orange Boulevard to Markham Road to Longwood Markham Road as an alternate route.

The lane closures on Wednesday, June 29, and Thursday, June 30 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. are for sign and road work.
