ORLANDO _ The Central Florida Expressway Authority Board on Nov. 12, 2015 awarded Southland Construction the contract to build Wekiva Parkway Section 2B (429-204), also known as the systems interchange. Southland Construction won the project with the low bid of $79.6 million. The multi-tiered, systems interchange will be built northwest of Haas-Ondich Road and Plymouth Sorrento Road in Orange County. Construction is scheduled to begin in January of 2016.
